• Construct a computing suite of 250 square metres complete with fire rated walls and a 600mm access floor. • Provide a dedicated, precision environment control, air conditioning system capable of staged operation. • Support the computing suite with a 300 KVA 100% redundant Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS).
• Modify existing building infrastructure to provide a stand-by diesel generator supply to all computer suite building services e.g. UPS, computer suite air conditioning and alarms. • Provide a network of UPS distribution boards throughout the building. • Provide new and upgrade existing on-site monitoring facilities. • Provide a load bank facility for routine ‘on load’ testing of both diesel generators. Woodside’s existing Corporate computing suite forms a hub for a safe operation of all offshore oil rigs within the North West Shelf and Timor Sea. As a result unscheduled computing downtime could not be tolerated. All work was completed with a single, schedule downtime of two hours. All works were undertaken within a fully occupied and
operational building as disruption to the business was unacceptable.
